Global Antisemitism Has Officially Reached The Point of No Return!

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, early in the morning in Israel, Hamas terrorists attacked civilians and military personnel in over twenty locations. It didn't take long for the world to realize that this was not a localized terrorist attack. This one was big and it was planned. Prime Minister Netanyahu first declared that Israel was in "a state of war," and soon after, he officially declared that Israel was "at war" by invoking article 40 aleph. This had not happened since the 1973 Yom Kippur War, under Prime Minister Golda Meir. It has been less than a week, and casualties are over 1,200 in Israel. More than 150 were taken hostage and some might have been executed in the last few days. It breaks my heart to even say this, but Israel is at war, and this is going to be a long and messy one.

One thing we cannot say about Hamas is that they didn't tell us how they feel about Israel and the Jewish people. The Hamas Covenant is clear,  "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it (Preamble.) "The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then, the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees, and the rocks and trees will cry out: 'O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him. (article 7.)"

Hamas is a terrorist organization. UN Security Council Resolution 1566 defines terrorism very clearly: "criminal acts, including against civilians, committed with the intent to cause death or serious bodily injury, or taking of hostages, with the purpose to provoke a state of terror in the general public or in a group of persons or particular persons, intimidate a population or compel a government or an international organization to do or to abstain from doing any act."  This is exactly what Hamas did on Saturday, Oct 7, 2023, and I certainly wish I could say that the whole world is seeing through them. I wish I could say that Hamas is not fooling anyone, but unfortunately, I can't!

All over the world (Canada, Europe, USA), people have gathered on the streets to protest and speak up. While there were people coming to show their support to Israel, many more came with a pro-Palestinian agenda and unashamedly voiced their support for Hamas, chanting, "From the River to the Sea, Palestine Shall be Free!" which is a euphemism for killing all Jews in Israel. How in the world could anyone support the barbaric torturing and killing of innocent civilians (children, teenagers, adults and the elderly alike, including beheading? This is not about occupation or a two-state solution. This is pure, evil antisemitism. There were even people displaying swastikas during a protest in Time Square, NY.

Jewish people worldwide do not feel safe anymore. When on the street, they have to watch their backs. When at services in Synagogue, they fear armed intruders at any moment. They stay home, lock their doors and pray for the best. This is no life to live, but safety first, I understand, yet, even that, might not be safe anymore.

Apparently, a hacker has claimed that he has stolen genetic data from millions of users on the DNA ancestry service 23andMe. The company originally stated that they had not been hacked, but they eventually requested that all their users change their passwords immediately. The hacker also claimed that he was willing to sell a million names of individuals with Ashkenazi (Eastern European Jews) lineage. If the hack actually happened, it means that Jewish people are now being identified at the individual level, including personal data and home addresses. We are now seeing the stage being set for the rounding up of Jews. I do not take the Holocaust lightly, considering that I lost my grandfather in Auschwitz, but we have to start drawing parallels between the 2023 open season on the Jews and the 1930s open season on the Jews .

In 1935, the Nazi regime announced two new laws related to race: The Reich Citizenship Law and The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor. They were meant to identify and ostracize the Jews. As they were first introduced in Nuremberg, they became known as "The Nuremberg Laws." This was the start of the Nazi death factories. But, before the Nazis could kill 6,000.000 Jews in the Death Camps, they had to transport them there, and before they could transport them they had to gather and keep them together in ghettos, but before all that, the Jewish people had to be identified, thus the Nuremberg Laws.

Once the Nuremberg Laws were put in place, the domino effect started. In August 1938, all Jews had to have the names "Sara" for females and "Israel" for males, added to their identification papers for quick identification. Three months later, the stamped red letter "J" was added to the passports of all the Jewish people. One month later Kristallnacht took place in Germany. It has been recognized as the official start of the "Final Solution to the Jewish Question." In September of 1941, the Yellow Star patch (that my parents wore in France) became mandatory.

Even if the hacker's story is not true, the mere fact that someone thought of doing such a thing, shows the world's obsession with the destruction of all Jewish people. Maybe this hacker is a fake and he has nothing, but the idea is now in the open and someone will find a way to get Jewish addresses. This is pure evil and it validates Satan's main agenda: The destruction of Israel and all Jews. The dominos are in place and it only takes one push.

This war is going to be won by Israel one way or another. Bibi stated it very simply, "Hamas started the war, but we will finish it!" Hamas will be stopped and incapacitated. The biggest lesson might end up being that it is no longer safe for Jews ANYWHERE including Israel. Antisemitism has been constantly repackaged by Satan over the centuries and even in the last few decades. Today, in a vicious race to get the Jews everywhere, global antisemitism might have reached the point of no return!

So, the only remaining safe harbor for Jews is now–on a more individual level–in the homes of loving Christians who will do anything to help Israel. The challenge is that most Jewish people don't know if they can trust their Christian neighbors. It is time to reach out to your Jewish friends and open your home and your heart to them. Let us all model our behavior after the Tribulation sheep of Matthew 25:31-46, "34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You as a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of Mine, you did it for Me."

These Gentile Christians are reminiscent of the Yad Vashem Righteous Among the Nations who saved Jews during WW2, including my mother and her two cousins. I call them the New Righteous Among the Nations.

Bibi Netanyahu called all Israeli reservists to duty. Maybe it is time for all New Righteous Among the Nations to respond to the call of duty as well.
Israel and Diaspora Jews can certainly use a few friends right now!

Am Yisrael Chai!

The White House Strategy to Combat Antisemitism Should Start with CUNY!

On May 25th, the White House unveiled a new strategy to combat antisemitism in America in a 60-page document.  In President Joe Biden's words, "Toward that aim, my Administration has developed the first U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism. It represents the most ambitious and comprehensive U.S. government-led effort to fight antisemitism in American history. It also brings Americans together—regardless of our backgrounds and beliefs—to stand united against the hate, racism, bigotry, and violence that have long haunted our Nation. The Strategy outlines a whole-of-society effort to combat antisemitism, including unprecedented, coordinated, and bold actions that will be implemented across government agencies, as well as calls to action for public officials, private sector leaders, and Americans from every sector, industry, and walk of life. "

In principle, I have to applaud that statement. It seems to show that a great effort is being made to combat the oldest hatred. After all, it is extremely alarming to know that 2.4% of the U.S. population is the victim of 63% of all hate crimes in America. This task force is part of a broader committee known as the "Interagency Policy Committee on Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and Related Forms of Bias and Discrimination." It has been tasked with combatting antisemitism as its first order of business and has partnered with a myriad of various organizations to do so on as many levels as possible, and again, we should all be very encouraged...If, indeed, this new endeavor truly leads to change. Sadly, I have my doubts.

When it comes, to antisemitism, the number one challenge is education, and, for those interested in fighting the beast of Jew hatred, there are more than enough resources online, in printed form and even in person. Additionally,  they announced that "in 2024, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum will launch the first-ever U.S.-based Holocaust education research center." There is great potential for continued education on the Holocaust and its ramifications into the 21st century. This should equip people to debunk history revision and holocaust denial. Again, education is available, but it will only change the landscape if people who learn also take action.

It is not the first time that words have been spoken against the evil of antisemitism. Politicians from both sides of the aisle have claimed multiple times that "America will not tolerate any antisemitism" and that "antisemitism will be punished by law." Sadly, these have been spoken words but followed by very little action unless the event that led to the statements was important enough to draw the attention of the general public - like the tragedy of the Pittsburgh Synagogue murders in 2018. Even then, not enough has really been done.

Another of the greatest challenges in combatting antisemitism is identifying acts of Jew-hatred as such. When a man took hostages in a synagogue on Shabbat in Colleyville, TX, in 2022, the FBI immediately came out to denounce the crime, but without declaring any antisemitic connection. In their defense, they quickly changed their story. Many incidents take place in America on a daily basis and when the Jewish community witnesses the lack of recognition and lack of any enforcement, they simply don't report antisemitism anymore. Why would they if nothing or very little gets done?

As the White House is promising action against antisemitism like never before in America, they have an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is. On May 12, there was a graduation ceremony for the the law students’ class of 2023 at City University of New York (CUNY). The school has a reputation for being very liberal, which is their right in our beautiful country. They got into trouble last year for letting graduate Nerdeen Kiswani who has called for "the destruction of Israel," and invited people to "globalize the Intifada." One would think that this year, they would have tried to be a little less controversial, let alone not so anti-Jewish.

Enter Fatima Mousa Mohammed to deliver the graduation speech at CUNY 2023 Commencement ceremony. Her 12-minute speech was laced with racism, CRT and antisemitism. A graduation speech is an awesome opportunity to encourage, challenge and inspire the graduating class. It should be seen as an important responsibility and a tremendous honor. Her speech turned out to be none of that, unless, of course, she wanted to encourage people to ostracize and demonize Israel. It is a sad day we live in when people use any platform they can to denigrate the Jewish state with antisemitic tropes. CUNY trains the next generation of legal experts, lawyers and judges. Where is this world going?

Some of the statements that Miss Mohammed said were, "The continual white supremacy that continues to oppress and suppress people in this nation," and " I want to  celebrate CUNY Law as one of the few if not the only Law School to make a public statement defending the rights of its students to organize and speak out against Israeli settlers colonialism," "This is the Law School that passed and endorsed BDS on a student and faculty level," "Israel continues to indiscriminately rain bullets and bombs on worshippers, murdering the old, the young, attacking even funerals and graveyards as it encourages lynch mobs to target Palestinian homes and businesses as it imprisons its children as it continues its project of settlers colonialism expelling Palestinians from their home carrying the ongoing Nakba,"  "Leading the fight against capitalism, racism, imperialism and Zionism around the world."

Amid all the statements that are not based on factual truth, she also declared, "We must practice a discipline of truth and courage." While I agree with this statement, I am not certain that this is what she had just accomplished in her passionate speech. There are a few things that troubled me with her graduation speech, and the reason for my discomfort is the choice of venue for such a declaration. It is absolutely true that we must uphold freedom of speech in America; otherwise, we become a police state with no freedoms at all as a result.  Yet, free speech being upheld should never occur if and when it places people at risk for their lives. Some questions we need to ask ourselves after listening to the words of Miss Mohammed are:

• Was her speech encouraging and positive, seeking to make a better world?
• Why was she wearing a Palestinian scarf around her neck?
• Why was there so much cheering from the student body?
• Of all her cries against injustice in the world, was Israel disproportionally represented?
• Were all her complaints about Israel killing Palestinians accurate?
• How did the speech receive faculty approval prior to being delivered (or did she change it at the last minute)?

In their defense, the CUNY Board of Trustees made a statement in which they clearly condemn the speech:

“The remarks by a student-selected speaker at the CUNY Law School graduation, unfortunately, fall into the category of hate speech as they were a public expression of hate toward people and communities based on their religion, race or political affiliation."

I applaud them for coming out so quickly to denounce the hate-filled speech. Circling back to the new White House strategy to counter antisemitism, what took place at the 2023 CUNY commencement ceremony is a perfect example of the normalization of antisemitism and that it falls into the incidents that the White House needs to identify, analyze, and denounce. But, beyond denouncing the hate, we must start to bring those who promote it to justice and have them pay for their crimes. Maybe I live in a utopian universe, but I still have faith in the human spirit. My prayers go out to our current administration for the hard work that lies ahead of them.

Satan's Creativity: Antisemites Come in Different Shapes, Sizes and Colors! - Part 1

As early as the first Jews were described in the Bible, antisemitism was a thing.  And thousands of years later, it continues to be a thing. What could possibly fuel so much hatred against the same people group for such a long time? It is fair and accurate to say that Jewish history has been and continues to be punctuated by acts of antisemitism. Most scholars who write and teach on antisemitism through the ages are somewhat puzzled at its pernicious persistence. I believe that it is due to the fact that they do not take into account the spiritual aspect of the oldest hatred. The moment God expressed interest in the Jewish people and shared His plan for Israel and her people, His archenemy, Satan, started to work towards eliminating the chosen people.

Antisemitism cannot be fully understood without the spiritual component that allowed it to persist through the centuries. It is a creation of Satan to eradicate Israel and all Jewish people. He tried to kill the "Seed of the Woman" (Messiah) in Genesis 3:15, and then corrupt the lineage of the Jewish Messiah in Genesis 6:1-5. He turned the Amalekites against the Jews in the wilderness in Deuteronomy 25:17-19. We cannot forget his attempt at completely annihilating the Jews through Haman in the book of Esther.

Yet, Satan didn't stop there. He continued to turn the world against the Jews, and when Yeshua of Nazareth–the Jewish Messiah–gave His life on that cross for all of us two millennia ago, it didn't take long for people to accuse the Jews of deicide (the killing of God). Incidentally, it took the Roman Catholic Church and Pope Paul VI, over 1900 years to officially declare in 1965 in Nostra Aetate, that the Jews were no longer guilty of killing Christ. This hasn’t really stopped some modern Catholics from hating Jews to this day.

Satan is as creative as he is hateful. He has managed to summon Jew hatred from so many people around the world and over the ages. It really helps to identify all the different types of antisemites that one can run into. Some of them might be harder to identify because of how devious Satan is at disguising the hatred and making it look like social justice. In a day and age when social justice is so attractive, many people will jump on the antisemitism bandwagon, thinking that they are doing a great deed. So, who are these various antisemites? Let us list a few in no particular order, keeping in mind that some of these various characteristics might intersect and some people can display several of them all at once. Additionally, the list will keep growing because of Satan's creative hatred and continued subcontracting of it to many people. I will let you discover where some of these people fit within that list.

The Historical antisemite: Deep in the soil of Europe grows the kind of hatred based on the multiple libels and tropes that have cursed Jewish communities from post-biblical days, through the Middle Ages and the Reformation. This is the antisemite who believes that Jews use Christian blood to make matzah for Passover and that Jews poisoned the wells of Europe to cause the great plague that killed over 50 million people in Europe from 1346 to 1353. This is a brand of antisemitism that is in the DNA of many Europeans.

The Muslim antisemite:
Islam (early 7th Century) is much younger than Judaism and Christianity. For the last 13 centuries, Islam has developed into one of the three top world religions. For reasons beyond the scope of this article, parts of Islam have become radicalized, and an intense polarization now exists between our Judeo/Christian community and Islam. Jews have become a prime target of Islam and are often targeted as archenemies worthy of death. The Arab/Israeli conflict of the last century certainly doesn't help the issue. Children are often indoctrinated against Jews and Israel at a very young age.

The College antisemite:
For a couple of decades now, antisemitism has been present on college and university campuses. Unfortunately, due to extreme beliefs taught on campuses across the United States, Jews are targeted as enemies.  "Campus Intifada" and "Hate Fests" are held on numerous campuses where most of the speakers are solely antisemitic.  Gullible students who don't communicate with others outside those circles end up believing Israel and the Jewish People are the "great Satan"!  When Jewish and pro-Israel or pro-Zionist students try and organize themselves, they almost always get disrupted and shouted out of having a voice.|

The Joking antisemite:
Everybody loves a good joke, right? Well, we should be careful not to make ethnic jokes, and most people do pay attention to that warning. Yet, there seems to be a disconnect when it comes to jokes involving Jewish people. People regularly joke about Jewish people being stingy, liking money and good deals, thinking it is funny when it really is very offensive. Most Jewish people will shrug their shoulders and appear to be brushing it off, but it is hurtful. The Joking antisemite thinks he/she is funny, but they are not.

The Christian antisemite:
How can one be a Christian and hate the Jewish people? Wasn't Jesus a Jew? Of course, He was! Unfortunately, starting within one century after the closing of the biblical canon, many Church Fathers started to develop an allegorical approach to the Bible that led them and their disciples to believe that the Christians had replaced the Jews in God's plan, promises and covenants. This is known today as Replacement Theology and is absolutely not biblical. The Christian antisemite thinks he/she is keeping with the Bible's instruction by replacing the Jews, but they are actually making God a liar and a covenant breaker. Additionally, another group of Christians teaches that Jewish people do not need Jesus or the Gospel to be saved because they are already accepted by God by virtue of being Jewish. This is known as Dual Covenant theology and is also not biblical. Actually, to love Jewish people, but refrain from sharing the gospel with them, is a form of soft antisemitism.

The Political antisemite:
The political arena is not exempt from the poison of antisemitism. Various states have elected representatives who claim not to be antisemitic, but only anti-Zionists. These representatives have infiltrated Congress and are fighting hard to give Israel and the Jewish people a bad rep. They claim that Israel is an occupier, colonizer and human rights violator while completely ignoring terrorist attacks against Israel and the Jewish people. The political antisemites lobby against Israel and slowly recruit more of their acolytes who will grow their ranks and help pass more resolutions against Israel.

The United Nations antisemite: When it comes to resolutions, we cannot ignore the many antisemites filling the ranks at the UN. Fourteen resolutions were passed against Israel (population 9.5 MM) in 2021, while five were passed against the rest of the world (population 7.9B), which shows the vast imbalance. Israel represents only .012% of the world population. There was three times more resolution against a country the size of New Jersey than against the whole world. This happened during the 76th session of the UN General Assembly for 2021-2022. UN antisemitism comes from various countries, many of them from the Middle East, but not exclusively. Israel's demonization at the UN makes one wonder what they are really "United" about?

The Theological antisemite: At a recent Christian conference that is known for supporting Israel, I walked into a hallway and overheard a man conversing with a fellow Jewish believer in Yeshua. I was shocked when the man dogmatically claimed that "the Jews killed Christ!" I had to stop and ask him what he meant after I told him that both of his interlocutors were Jewish. His response was even worse. He told me, "I was only speaking theologically!" How can one spew that kind of nonsensical hatred and claim that it was just a theological statement? You cannot cover antisemitism with a veneer of theology. I asked the man if Hitler killed six million theologically as well. He had no comments.

A few more types of antisemites need to be listed and exposed, but for now, we need to pause and reflect on the first eight of our list. You probably know someone who fits the bill or even more than one type within the same person. People can be corrected once we know that they need correction. We have to do our part firmly and in love. In part II, I will list nine more types and we will look at what they all have in common and how we can start to redirect their biased and xenophobic mentalities toward the truth about Israel and the Jewish people.

Antisemitism in the Police Force: Condoned or Condemned?

A great test to determine if a thought, word or deed is antisemitic, is the test developed in 2003 by Russian refusenik turned Israeli politician Nathan Sharansky. The test is known as the "Three Ds" or "3D Test." It comprises three components to help one determine if something is antisemitic. The three Ds stand for Delegitimization, Demonization and Double Standards. When it is all said and done, any antisemitic act will without fail fall under one or more of these criteria. So, how does it work when we look at the Cleveland, Ohio police officer who glorified Hitler, Bin Laden and Hamas?

Ismail Quran was hired by the Cleveland Police Department in 2018. In November 2021, he was named "Officer of the Year" and subsequently received the service medal that comes with the award at the Cleveland Division of Police Awards Ceremony. Officer Quran was praised for many good deeds he performed while on duty. In a day and age when police officers are being mocked, denigrated and even defunded, it is great to witness the recognition that an officer receives from his peers. Unfortunately, as it was first reported by Canary Mission, Ismail Quran seems to be bringing baggage to his job on the Police force. It is the kind of baggage that should disqualify anybody from getting an award of that kind, let alone being kept on the force on active duty.

It doesn't matter how great a police officer might be, if they are antisemitic and cannot control their outbursts of hatred, should they really be protecting our communities? What happens when a Jewish person is involved as a victim of a crime? Will the officer be fair in his duty or will he use double standards? Let's apply the 3Ds Test and my definition of antisemitism stating that: "Antisemitism is the irrational and satanic hatred of the Jews and Israel characterized by destructive thoughts, words and/or deeds against them", to the officer's recent nomination  and let's review some of officer Quran's recent statements. I will let the reader connect the dots by themselves.

• Ismail Quran belonged to the Muslim Student Union (MSU) while he attended Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland. The MSU is tied to the Muslim Brotherhood which founded Hamas in 1987. The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas founded the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) in 1994. Muslim Brotherhood's motto is: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.” Both the Brotherhood and Hamas have terrorist connections and are very much anti-Israel and anti-Zionism (read "antisemitic"). This was at the very least an indoctrination against Jews and Israel, but did it stick?

• In 2014, Ismail Quran used Twitter to glorify Adolf Hitler. Mr. Quran posted a picture of Hitler with the caption, “LET ME SALUTE TO HITLER THE GREAT" followed by a quote by the Nazi dictator  "I would have killed all the Jews of the world, but I kept some to show the world why I killed them."

• Between 2012 and 2014, Ismail Quran used Social Networks to spread antisemitism. Mr. Quran posted a multitude of messages spreading antisemitic lies and conspiracy theories from "Jews controlling the world" to "Palestine shall be free" and much more including support for the terrorist organization Hamas.
It would appear that many of the posts gathered by Canary Mission have since been removed and some of the accounts even closed.

The first question I have is, "How can such a man even be hired by a United States police department? Are they checking their candidates or are they so desperate that they hire just about anybody with a few credentials? How would the police department have reacted if the candidate showed xenophobic tendencies towards African Americans or any other communities? Were his comments ignored by mistake, by choice, or worse...Were they condoned?

Then, we have to wonder how in the world did officer Quran make it to "2019 Officer of the Year?" I am already flabbergasted at the fact that nobody seems to care about Officer Quran's hatred for Jews and for Israel, but I am also disgusted by the fact that now he is recognized as an exemplary employee of the Cleveland Police force. What kind of message is this sending to other public servants who also harbor antisemitic sentiments?

It appears that officer Quran's story suffers from at least two of the three Ds, Double Standard and Demonization. Officer Quran should have never been hired and should have been disciplined for his behavior, not rewarded unless of course, the Cleveland police see no harm done in all that. At a time when antisemitism is again burning through the fields of Western civilization if various Jewish communities cannot even trust their local police, how are we to defend ourselves?

What is the "Nakba" and why it matters to Jews and Christians?

Historically and prophetically speaking, a very important event took place on May 14, 1948, as a result of a United Nations vote that took place in November 1947. Israel was reborn as a modern nation. This didn't happen in a vacuum. The famous 1917 Balfour Declaration set the wheels in motion for British Mandate Palestine to be born again as the modern Jewish State of Eretz Yisrael. A lesser-known, but equally if not more important event, was the 1920 San Remo Conference. That Italian conference established a legal precedent for the existence of Israel beyond what the Balfour Declaration had provided. In an ideal world, this should have been a geopolitical and legal slam dunk. Well...Not really!

May 14, 1948, was an important date indeed for Jewish people worldwide. Three years after the end of World War Two and the horrors of the Holocaust, European Jews in particular finally had a place to call their own and immigrate to.

on May 15, 1949, the Dhikra an-Nakba, meaning "Memory of the Catastrophe" started being commemorated unofficially. It was later officially established by Yasir Arafat in 1998. It has now become known as the Nakba. This date serves as a reminder of the catastrophe that took place for the Palestinians when Israel became a modern nation. So, apparently, one people group's independence became another people group's catastrophe. Is there validity in that claim?

Any time there is a wave of immigration, it has the potential to create a crisis or at the very least, a challenge. Why should it be different when it comes to Israel becoming a nation and starting to receive olim (Jewish immigrants)? Yet, the Nakba rests on a faulty foundation. It assumes that Jewish immigrants came to "Palestine" and stole land that wasn't theirs. It assumes that Israel is committing crimes against humanity. It assumes that Israel is an apartheid nation, and it assumes that Israel is committing ethnic cleansing. These myths are easily debunked when we look at the facts and I know of no better source to do this than the book by Mitchell Bard: Myths and Facts: A Guide to the Arab Israeli Conflict.

Before accusing Israel of all these terrible acts leading to the Nakba, serious historians, researchers and politicians should consider what really took place. Historian Benny Morris explains: "The international community proposed a compromise between the two movements, giving to each part of the territory, so they would each have a small state. The Palestinians said no and went to war.” I do not agree with a two-state solution, but had the Arabs accepted what was proposed in the 1937 Peel Commission, today, Palestine would be 80% of the land and Israel 20%, and we could be looking at two celebrations today: Israel and Palestine, but instead we look at a 75-year conflict between Arabs and Jews. The reason why? They want 100% of "Palestine" or nothing! So, the colonizing-occupying-ethnic cleansing-apartheid-human rights-abusing narrative continues in full force, and the indoctrinated politically correct masses buy it all; hook, line and sinker.

Capitalizing on the Nakba is always a good idea for the enemies of Israel, especially at a time when facts are ignored. Maybe this is why US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib recently proposed a congressional resolution to make the United States commemorate the Nakba that coincides with Israel Yom Ha'atzmaut (Israel's Independence Day.) She was joined by other members of the "squad" Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar. Ms. Tlaib tweeted "Today, I introduced a resolution recognizing the Nakba (catastrophe), where 400 Palestinian towns and villages were destroyed, over 700,000 Palestinians uprooted from their homes, and made refugees."

The resolution will most likely receive very few votes if any, but it is a symptom of the longest hatred; the pandemic of anti-Semitism. It doesn't matter if it is not moving forward because the narrative continues regardless as  Institute for Middle East Understanding explains, "the Nakba (“catastrophe” in Arabic) refers to the mass expulsion of Palestinian Arabs from British Mandate Palestine during Israel’s creation (1947-49). The Nakba did not end in 1948 and continues to this day in the form of Israel’s ongoing theft of Palestinian land for illegal settlements and segregated communities in the Palestinian West Bank, including East Jerusalem, its destruction of Palestinian homes and agricultural land, revocation of residency rights, deportations, periodic brutal military assaults that result in mass civilian casualties such as the one that took place in Gaza in the summer of 2014 and spring of 2021, and the denial of the internationally-recognized legal right of return of millions of stateless Palestinian refugees."

Where is Ms. Tlaib's rejection of terrorism? Why is she not mentioning what really takes place in Gaza with the hiding of weapons and shooting of missiles from hospitals, schools and civilian areas?

All of this also takes place after the tragic death of an Al-Jazeera journalist in Jenin. The Israeli authorities think that they have acquired the weapon that was used and they have been asking the Palestinian authority for the recovered bullet for ballistics. The Palestinian Authority is refusing to turn in the bullet. With both items, it would be very simple to determine where the lethal shot came from. What is taking so long? Ms. Tlaib is also capitalizing on the death of the journalist, connecting it to the supposed long thread of murders and other crimes committed by Israel since the start of the Nakba. At the same time, Ms. Tlaib completely ignores the 19 Israelis killed in several terrorist attacks in Israel during the Muslim month of Ramadan.

I am certain that the 1948 declaration of independence and the subsequent war of the same name were not without casualties for all sides. War always brings damage and unnecessary deaths, but since 1948, Israel has never started a war, but only responded to attacks.

The Nakba is simply more anti-Semitic propaganda to turn the world against the only democracy in the Middle East, because, from a biblical standpoint, Satan has always had the Jews in his crosshair. He wants to completely destroy those whom God loves (Zechariah 2:8b) and, towards that goal, he is the creator of anti-Semitism. I could almost hear God speaking to the Jewish people and saying:" I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you are my favorite people and the bad news is that you are my favorite people!"

So, let's recognize that history continues to be re-written by Israel's enemies and that nobody on that side cares to check for facts. Where are the Israeli/Palestinian conflict "fact-checkers" when we need them?

Appeasement is a Time Bomb Sitting on a Powder Keg!

Sir Winston Churchill once said, “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.” This was most likely a reference to Sir Neville Chamberlain who had naively thought that he could appease Adolf Hitler. History proved Chamberlain wrong.  It became one of the most common cases of failed appeasement.  On September 30, 1938, when the “Munich Pact” was signed by France, Great Britain, Italy and Germany, Germany was pretty much “given” Czechoslovakia for peace purposes. In other words, within months of the start of WWII, as Hitler had already become a force to be reckoned with, he was “appeased” with Czechoslovakia. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain went home, proud of his group’s achievement, and telling all that, as a result of it, they had achieved “peace in our time”. The rest is history and, suffice it to say, Mr. Chamberlain and the Allies were proven wrong about fifty million times over.

Fast forward to today, and there should really be no dialogue with those who want to replace and/or eliminate Western civilization. Appeasement is one of the greatest weaknesses of the postmodern West and will very likely become part of its demise. It is born out of a desire to remain within the acceptable boundaries of political correctness. Unfortunately, both political correctness and appeasement are seen by our enemies for what they are:  weaknesses and wide-open doors to get inside our democracies and destroy them slowly from within.

When it comes to end-times anti-Semitism, appeasing the enemies of Israel and the Jews will only be done by agreeing with them and further participating in their destructive agenda. The principal recipient of the “blessing” of appeasement is the main protagonist on the scene of end-times anti-Semitism. On one side, radical Islamic ideology pervades many aspects of our daily lives and dictates what must be done next. Liberalism, on the other side, also promotes appeasement at the high cost of denigrating, ostracizing and now even killing Jewish people. Radical Islamic ideology is behind the reshaping of Europe, the United States and, of course, most of the Middle East and Asia. It has slowly infiltrated large corporations, government agencies, schools and universities and even financial institutions over the last 50 years to reshape the West in what can be called “the stealth jihad.” So, appeasement with Islam in any radical shape it might be, is a sure loss for the West.

Appeasement shows weakness and even desperation, which is exactly what we are seeing all over the world when it comes to not offending Muslims. We can have no mention of Jesus in American public schools, no wearing of kippot (Jewish skull cap) in French public schools; yet, we even take down crosses in some public places because they offend Muslims. In one case, there appeared to be so many crosses in a Catholic (that’s right, Catholic!) University that a complaint was filed claiming Muslim students were uncomfortable praying there. This is a Catholic school, for goodness’ sake. What do you expect? Why can’t they just use a different room to pray? This hatred against the Christian cross is growing all over the world and especially in Europe. Muslims have a great aversion to the cross, so everyone else must bend and take them down or cover them. I would understand if we tried to erect crosses in Muslim countries like Iran, Afghanistan, or even Saudi Arabia, but in Western Europe?  Seriously?

Why appease Muslims and erase the symbol of Christianity in what used to be Christian countries? If anything, the cross is even more offensive to Jewish people because of all the carnages and persecutions done in its name against my people for the last 2,000 years (Crusades, Inquisition, Pogroms, Holocaust, etc.), but you don’t see Jewish people anywhere suing for being offended by the cross or protesting its public display. Jewish people simply walk away or do not enter into a building with a cross, end of story!

Any type of appeasement is simply an act of postponement. In the name of tolerance, political correctness, multiculturalism or even out of fear, appeasement is a time bomb connected to a powder keg, sitting under Western civilization. Appeasement should make us very upset and cause us to speak against it, but it shouldn’t lead us to hate the people who attempt appeasement. In other words, it is necessary for us all to speak up against those who try to negotiate with terrorists, murderers and haters, whether with individual people or with whole countries. The danger is that in the process of our disagreement with appeasers, we can easily sway towards hatred of those they are trying to appease, simply to prove to them that they are playing with fire and eventually will get burned. In recent history, we have moved towards pointing the finger at the enemy, whether it be ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Boko Haram, Hezbollah or others. Without caution, we can find ourselves just a few steps away from racism.

It works the same for any other groups like BLM or Antifa. Violence, looting, racial slurs and destructive acts cannot be condoned by anyone for any reason. Appeasement, as good as it looks to the outside world, is a one-way street that is taken when negotiations are not an option and those appeasing appear to be a danger. It is akin to rewarding a guilty party for acts of treachery, abuse or even destruction. Appeasement is cowardice in action, and it is a clear sign of a lack of integrity!

6 Signs Reveal That We Are Back in the 1930s!

When I started the research in 2000 for my first book on antisemitism, I identified some troubling trends in the new antisemitism that were slowly becoming a reality. Most people looked at me funny when I claimed that what I was observing, appeared to be an ominous return to the 1930s and 1940s in Europe for the Jews. I was even called a conspiracy theorist, but it is only a conspiracy theory if it is not true, and as it turns out, my fears are now confirmed. We are in the 1930s and we haven't seen the worst yet.

I have identified 6 signs revealing that we are in a 21st-century version of the 1930s. When we remember how that previous era ended for six million Jews, it should bring chills down our spine and it should really motivate people of goodwill in general and Bible-believing Christians in particular, to expose the lies and fight for the truth. The sad reality is that this time, not just the Jews are the target, but Christians as well. This being said, and as history has shown, the Jews are the first to be targeted and they are persecuted the most. There is a reason why antisemitism is often called the longest hatred.

1 - Demonization
Often, the first step in separating a people group from the rest of society is to make people believe that they are different in a negative and even dangerous way. This has been the stigma attached to my people for much of our history, from the Biblical record to the early Church Fathers to the medieval lords to the reformation to the Holocaust. Yet, it didn't really stop because antisemitism never stops. Antisemitism is on a continuum that constantly reinvents itself to better attract more people towards hating the Jews. The demonization of the Jews is nothing new. We have been accused of crucifying Messiah from the day of the crucifixion to this day, a false accusation that can easily be debunked starting with the Bible in John 10:14-18, where Yeshua speaks of His death as a necessary part of God's plan, and how He gave His own life for all and was able to take it back at His resurrection. Additionally, we have been called so many things from criminals to wild beasts to poisoners of wells to usurers to little devils to vermin and sub-human. The last two names were part of Nazi propaganda to dehumanize the Jews and facilitate their demonization. Vermin need to be exterminated for the safety of people, thus the Holocaust was thought of, justified, organized and six million times successful.
What about today?  Are Jews still being demonized? You tell me. We are called the new Nazis of the Middle East, colonizers, occupiers, guilty of ethnic cleansing. The old antisemitism was going after the Jews in the Diaspora and the new antisemitism is going after them as well as Israelis and the Land of Israel as well. At the 2018 Convention of the Islamic Society of North America, American/Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour said, “if you're on the side of the oppressor, or you're defending the oppressor or you're actually trying to humanize the oppressor, then that's a problem sisters and brothers and we got to be able to say: that is not the position of the Muslim American community.” I don't know about you, but when someone tells me that I am trying to humanize someone else, it must mean that they believe that someone else not to be human. If the Jews are not human, they become irrelevant to our society and demonization is ever so easier to commit. Linda Sarsour is closely connected to every member of "the Squad."

2 - Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS)
The BDS movement has officially been going for 16 years now. It was started by two men, one of whom we all know well, Mahmoud Abbas (current leader of the Palestinian Authority), and Omar Barghouti from Qatar, who incidentally received the Gandhi Peace Award in 2017 for his efforts towards peace in the Middle East. Boycott, in and of itself, isn't bad; it all depends on who or what one is boycotting, the reasons they do so and of course the integrity of the boycott. Abbas and Barghouti didn't invent the boycott of Jewish people, products or inventions; they simply revived an age-old practice that was used in the 1930s. Not long after coming into power, the Nazi leadership started to boycott Jewish businesses and Jewish professionals. On April 1, 1933, they decided to station stormtroopers in front of Jewish stores and paint yellow stars of David on storefront windows. The boycott officially lasted only one day, and many Germans ignored it. Nevertheless, it was the start of a campaign of ostracization that would lead to more boycotts and confiscation of Jewish property.
The modern BDS movement relies on the ignorance of those it targets as recruits. Being in the entertainment industry, on the political scene, in academia or even in various Christian denominations, BDS influences people who have blindly bought the Palestinian victimhood narrative. The very fact that Omar Barghouti received the Gandhi Peace Award in 2017 for peace efforts, shows the hypocrisy and lack of understanding of the facts in the Middle East. It is so sad to see so many people infatuated with a false narrative cloaked in the attractive garment of social justice. The BDS movement continues to tighten its grip on Israel and Jewish products, inventions and people (with much hypocrisy as they only boycott what is convenient to them), and financed by liberals like George Soros.

3 - Pogroms
The first pogroms occurred in Eastern Europe in the mid to late 1800s. They mostly occurred within what was known as the Pale of Settlement. The Pale (1791-1913) included about 20 percent of European Russia and much of present-day Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Moldova, Ukraine and parts of western Russia, for a total of about 1,000,000 square miles. About 90 percent of Russian Jews lived inside the Pale, growing from 1.6 million in 1820 to 5.6 million in 1910. Life was very difficult, and additionally, the pogroms (Russian for “devastation”) of the 1870s through the 1910s created a very hostile environment that exacerbated the miserable conditions in which the Jews lived. The first pogrom might have been as early as 1821 in Odessa, Ukraine. The official reason given for the hundreds of subsequent pogroms was the assassination of Alexander II in 1880, for which some blamed the Jews.  Pogroms became government-sponsored riots against the Jews, and they claimed the lives of many in the little Jewish shtetls (hamlets) of the Pale. They included looting, rape and murder.
While today's pogroms might not be government-sponsored, they are mostly ignored by the authorities. To be sure, we are not seeing major destruction of Jewish property and lives like in the 19th-century pogroms, but today's new antisemitism is expressed in ways that come very close. Consider the destructive attack on Jewish neighborhoods in conjunction with the murder of George Floyd.  Jewish businesses were attacked and looted in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles where many Jews live. Graffiti such as "Free Palestine" and "F...Jews" were spray-painted on walls. What this has to do with George Floyd still escapes me.

4 - Blood libels and other accusations
While the world is still trying to recover from the pandemic that changed everything, to some people, the Jews are to blame for the virus. This is nothing new for the Jewish people, but more of a repeat of what took place in the 14th century. By the mid-1300s, with the advent of the “Black Death” or “Black Plague”, the legend of the poisoning of the wells of Europe had found fertile ground. It was the most devastating pandemic in the history of mankind, responsible for the death of about 75 million people worldwide (25 million in Europe alone) from 1347 to 1350. It was four years of horror for the Jewish communities of Europe. As the rest of the continent appeared to be on its way to total extinction, people started to look for a cause and it was not long before the Jews were once again used as the convenient “scapegoats of humanity”. Jewish people also died during the “Black Death”, but generally in lesser numbers. The Kosher laws Jewish people followed forced them to maintain stricter hygiene and thus resulted in fewer infections and fewer deaths than the communities around them.  The Jews also lived in separate communities and the liturgical washing of hands before meals also kept them from being as sick or dying from the Black Death.  However, even with these known facts and traditions, it didn't stop the masses from destroying - slaughtering - over 200 Jewish communities.
So, today, and around the world, some are blaming the Jews for creating the virus to benefit from the sales of a vaccine; which is a combination of the poisoning of the wells of Europe and the myth of the greedy Jew. They come from the left, the right and religious groups worldwide. Some even claim that the Jews are more dangerous than Covid-19 and should be eliminated.  Social media is the big culprit in allowing antisemitic rhetoric to go unchallenged and unpunished. More than 17,000 occurrences of the phrase "Hitler was right" have been found on various platforms and very little has been done to stop it. Recently, a Twitter post by ex-congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) resurfaced where she claimed that Jews were behind 9-11

5 - Killings
Tragically, Jew-hatred rarely stops at the defacing of property or online threats. We have now entered a phase where Jews are being killed again. The Holocaust was the most devastating, organized genocide in the history of mankind. It was also the only of its kind where Jews were brought back to their death after they fled, making it incredibly unique. While the new antisemitism is not claiming the lives of Jews in the same manner and comparable numbers, just the idea that Jews would be massacred again should send chills down our spine. Perhaps France, more than any other civilized country, has seen the death of Jewish people in the last decade, and it is very alarming. This is why I believe beyond the shadow of a doubt that antisemitism has once again morphed into a more voracious beast: End-Times antisemitism.
The 2017 killing of Sarah Halimi in Paris, when she was thrown out the window of her apartment was one of the worst acts of antisemitic killing in recent years, and it is only one of several in 2012, 2015 and 2018. To add insult to injury, her killer was allowed to walk free without a trial because he had been found high on cannabis. This sets a precedent for the killing of Jews in France, and this should also be a wake-up call for French Jews. France is no longer a safe place for Jews. Let's also not forget the Pittsburg Synagogue massacre and the one in San Diego. Jews worldwide now live in constant fear for their lives. It is not safe to walk outside with a yarmulke on your head or a star of David around your neck. They used to be potential targets for verbal abuse, but the abuse is now turning physical. It is not only on the streets that Jews are at risk. Just days ago, a bullet was fired at the window of a Brooklyn synagogue.

6- Apathy
As if all these signs weren't enough to sound the alarm, there is one more aspect that must be brought up, and that is the apathy of the general public. For the most part, people don't care about Jewish people being the victims of antisemitism. If they are not affected, they move on. This tragically is reminiscent of the Holocaust era when many looked the other way when trains overfilled with Jews passed through their towns. Even worse, as Erwin Lutzer documents in his book, When a Nation Forgets God, the story he heard from an eyewitness telling him how people would sing louder in church when they heard trains go through, packed with Jews in cattle cars: “I lived in Germany during the Nazi Holocaust. I considered myself a Christian. We heard stories of what was happening to Jews, but we tried to distance ourselves from it because what could we do to stop it. A railroad track ran behind our small church and each Sunday morning we could hear the whistle in the distance, and then the wheels coming over the tracks. We became disturbed when we heard the cries coming from the train as it passed by. We realized that it was carrying Jews like cattle in the cars. Week after week the whistle would blow. We dreaded to hear the sound of those wheels because we knew that we would hear the cries of the Jews en route to a death camp. Their screams tormented us. We knew the time the train was coming, and when we heard the whistle blow, we began singing hymns. By the time the train came past our church, we were singing at the top of our voices. If we heard the screams, we sang more loudly and soon we heard them no more.”

The apathy of yesteryear is still contagious today. I am not surprised when people who do not believe in God act selfishly, but I am disgusted when people who call themselves Christians either denigrate the Jewish people or reenact the Holocaust era scenario and ignore the tragedy befalling my people today. The bystanders of the 1930s and 1940s are part of history, and please don't go trying to cancel that! My disgust is with the bystanders of today; the apathy within and without the church is a clear sign that the Jews have very few friends who will come to their rescue in time of need. Incidentally, American Jews being oblivious to these signs is another mystery to me. How much do my people need to go through to accept the fact that we are back in the 1930s and 1940s?

Do Jewish Lives Matter only in Theory?

If 2020 was the year of Covid-19, it was also the year of the US race riots. The tragic death of George Floyd is still having ripple effects in America, and the motto "Black Lives Matter" continues to be seen and heard across the land. It is not my intention to debate the various ways that this motto has been used, suffice it to say that there exists a certain amount of racial inequality in America that needs to be addressed if we desire to move towards solving it. Being a Bible believer and modern-day follower of Yeshua the Messiah, I believe that "All Lives Matter" to God and should matter to us as well.

The African American community has been at the forefront of the news for the past year; and while much remains to be accomplished, voices are heard and opinions are formed and even altered for the better. It's all good, but unfortunately, it is not equally good for all people. I am devastated by the recent news out of France regarding the trial of a man who murdered an innocent Jewish woman. All seems to indicate that in France–and possibly other countries–Jewish lives do not matter. Let me elaborate.

On April 4, 2017, 65-year-old Sarah Halimi, a retired doctor, was tortured by her neighbor Kobili Traoré, and then thrown to her death from the window of her third-floor apartment. Traoré committed this murder while reciting verses from the Qur'an and calling Sarah Halimi a "dirty Jew".  Upon throwing her through the window, Traoré shouted in Arabic that he had succeeded in killing an evil spirit or "killed the Satan".

When questioned, Traoré declared that he felt "persecuted", and after realizing that he was high on marijuana, the French justice system decided that he would not stand trial. That decision basically sent the message that anyone's voluntary drug consumption exonerates them from any responsibility. Traoré was officially acquitted in April 2021 and is literally getting away with murder, while the global media is - for the most part - completely ignoring this story.
France continues to be a very secular country and authorities don't like to report acts of antisemitism. This doesn't stop people from reporting them, but since not much gets done to remediate the problem, many of these acts remain unreported at worst or wrongly reported at best.

It is also shameful that much of the media in France and in the USA decide to remain silent on the fact that Traoré will walk free after killing a Jewish woman. Islamic antisemitism is a very touchy subject in France. They only started to report the news after the decision to let Traoré walk free and when the Jewish community started to protest in large numbers. It looks like a reaction to a protest that couldn't be ignored rather than honest reporting about a murder that went unpunished. Within a few days of the acquittal, a police officer in the city of Rambouillet near Paris was stabbed to death by a Tunisian man. The news in France, Europe and the United States were all over it within hours. The death of that police officer was a tragedy indeed, leaving a father and two children behind. Its reporting was necessary, but when I compare the two events and how one was ignored, I cannot help but think that there is a double standard being applied here. What a shame!

Traoré's exoneration sets an extremely dangerous legal precedent in France and the rest of the world. French President Emmanuel Macron said that the Jewish community has his full support. What did he mean by that? Were these empty words to save face? It is not the first time that Jewish people have been killed in France in recent years. What about the multiple stabbing of Holocaust survivor Mireille Knoll in 2018, left to die in her burning apartment? Of course, we all remember the kosher supermarket carnage of January 2015 when four Jewish shoppers were murdered. That was six years ago! The site of the tragedy–just a stone's throw from the house I grew up in– continues to see flowers and photos brought in memory of the victims, that's very thoughtful, but you cannot fight terrorism and antisemitism with flowers, photos and poems.

Before that, there was the 2012 Toulouse massacre, when Mohammed Merah entered a Jewish day school and killed three students and a rabbi in cold blood. What about 2006, when Ilan Halimi (no relation to Sarah Halimi), was tortured, burned over most of his body and then thrown beside railroad tracks to die? Not to mention the killing of Jewish people that occurred in other parts of the world such as the Pittsburgh synagogue and the San Diego attack of recent years.

Back to the Sarah Halimi case. The man who killed her didn't just kill her. He insulted her, killed her and then threw her out her apartment window. This shows much more than killing for whatever motive, it shows violent, uncontrollable hatred. We are told that because he was high on cannabis, he was not acting rationally because of being in some sort of altered state. The problem I have with that is that whenever someone is under the influence of any mind-altering substance, it doesn't just alter their behavior, it may also enhance the tendencies that lie dormant within them. Whatever control that person may have while sober may not be controlled while under the influence. To say that Kolibi Traoré cannot be held guilty of murder because of cannabis in his system is wrong, but to decide to not even go on with a trial is adding insult to injury. Even if murder is off the table–and it shouldn't be–manslaughter would be the absolute minimum charge. Doesn't that endanger Jewish lives elsewhere once someone is seen to be not responsible for their actions because of a drug or alcohol?

I can promise you that if the victim(s) had been from the Muslim faith, the case would have not been swept under the rug. If the victim was a Muslim thrown out the window by a Jew, the Imams would be all over the case and the news would have exploded with the details shouting "Islamophobia" from the social networks’ rooftops. For Jewish victims...Not so much! Let me reiterate that all lives matter: Jewish, Muslim, Christian or atheists, but why is this case of murder ignored and the perpetrator exonerated of any responsibility? What a slap in the face of the Jewish community, and not just in France.  This will probably be seen as a go-ahead for violence against Jews elsewhere.

It would appear that the lives of Jewish people are not worth much. Incidentally, France is a country where people will get one year in prison if they throw their dog out the window. So, is the life of a dog worth more than the life of a Jewish person? It would appear so!

This can only encourage antisemites to perpetrate more crimes against Jews as they see that their actions if noticed AND if reported properly, might not even garner any punishment. Justice is usually served, but maybe not for Jews, after all.  At least not for the foreseeable future in France. This is despicable and very scary for the Jewish community of France. That community already doesn't report all antisemitic acts because very little if anything gets done when they do. Sometimes Jews even get accused of playing "the victim card" or calling any disagreement with the Jewish community "antisemitism." There might have been some abuse in that area, but throwing a Jewish woman through her third-floor window screaming "Allahu Akbar" and "I have killed the Satan" is antisemitism without a doubt. So, do Jewish lives matter? Well, it certainly looks like they don't in France.

In every situation, there are always going to be the perpetrators, the victims and the bystanders. In the case of Sarah Halimi (the victim) and Kolibi Traoré (the perpetrator), inevitably, there are some bystanders. People who are not Jewish, people who fear Islamic extremism's repercussions and people guilty of "soft antisemitism" who wouldn't kill Jewish people, but certainly don't care if someone else does.
If you don't see the beginning wave of a repeat of history in Europe, you are not really paying attention. The last time a Jewish life was worth nothing, we let an evil man and his cohorts decimate six million Jews in the most horrific, systematic way possible.

The never-ending scapegoating of the Jews and bloody massacres against them will not stop until Messiah brings peace to the world. That day will come soon at the Second Coming of Yeshua of Nazareth. Some people say that since we cannot stop evil, we should just pray for God to intervene, and He might very soon. After all, if Hitler had not committed suicide, who knows how many more Jews would have perished at the hand of the Nazis. It is believed that Germany would have acquired the atomic bomb within six months after he died. Imagine the damage inflicted if that would have taken place.

So, yes God is absolutely in control, but He works through people. Not because He needs our help to fulfill His program, but because He wants to give us opportunities to bless and be blessed. Don't be a bystander, be a lending hand, be a helper, be a blesser and be blessed as you do your part in reassuring the Jewish community that Jewish lives do matter! In the meantime, don't be surprised if French Jews start making Aliyah in droves again. After all, didn't France just throw them under the bus?

In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the angel of His presence saved them; In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them, And He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.

The Rashida we need to know about!

The truth about Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib that will shock Americans
